Founded in 1917 by veterans of the Spanish American War, VFW Post 76 is the oldest post in Texas and has long been a place where those who served everywhere from Normandy to Baghdad could meet up, socialize and help one another.

VFW Post 76 hosts the annual three-day Fiesta event known as the “10th Street River Festival” during the second week of Fiesta on Thursday thru Saturday. May 02 - 03 2025

Children Shoe Give Away Event
Mrs. Zapata's 5th-grade class has been selected to receive a free pair of tennis shoes, courtesy of a generous donation from VFW Post 76, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
